Live Autumn
differently!
Imagine yourself in a superb rural setting, surrounded by fields painted autumn colours. Imagine thousands upon thousands of pumpkins, marrows, gourds and squash. Imagine stunning decors created by decorative maize. Imagine autumn all year round... this is a faithful reproduction of La Courgerie of Grand Rang St.Pierre, Ste.Elizabeth in the Lanaudiere region. A great destination where both young and old will benefit from the farm know-how and where we will lift the veil on a face up to that point ignored of autumn.
At the Courgerie of Ste.Elizabeth,
we celebrate fall year round. Not only do we cultivate the emblem of
Halloween here, the pumpkin but also we are there to recreate autumn's cordial
environment. Sets of themes of autumn to the practical demonstrations, while
passing by culinary tasting and the autocueillette of the
cucurbitaceous, at the Courgerie make you live fall differently, no matter
the season.
La Courgerie is one of the rare
market-gardening farms, which invites its visitors to discover, through an
animated circuit unique in Quebec, the culture of cucurbitaceous, simple
and delicious recipes, ideas of autumnal decoration as well as the small
history of the ancestral farm that is over two hundred years old. Provided
with a plan of the farm, visitors circulates through various sets of
themes where interpretation panels and an accommodating personnel can
inform them. As for the shop of the farm, Les Trouvailles de Potiron, it abounds in delicious ideas gifts, such as jams and marinades and of artisan creations which will be able to inspire visitors decorations as cordial as spectacular.
